Luxury Grand Haven Michigan Boudoir Photography

I love how comfortable and natural the session felt as this is not something I would have even thought to do before! I was so nervous about the whole idea of a boudoir session. I didn’t even own anything of the sort beforehand. So this entire concept was not in my comfort zone at all, but I am so glad I did it! Initially, I wanted to book a session as a gift to my husband which I am so excited to give him. However, it did become something for me as well to see myself in a different light, build up my confidence. Danielle was absolutely amazing! The session felt like I was just hanging with a good friend, it was an absolute blast! Best thing I have ever done for myself, hands down!

Danielle is absolutely amazing. I went into her studio nervous about the photo shoot and worried that I wouldn’t like any photos of myself, but ended up feeling confident and comfortable by the end AND couldn’t narrow down the photos I wanted without difficulty. She was able to capture my body in ways I haven’t seen in a while since having my babies and I’m very grateful for that. She found a great team to work with to do hair and makeup that boosts your confidence from the start. Then come time for the shoot, we started off with a more conservative outfit but by the end she had me feeling confident enough to step out of my comfort zone which ended up being my absolute favorite photos. Oh, where to start! First off, Danielle is absolutely amazing! I snagged a session to fill in, but goodness it was like a week and a half between me being interested to literally show up at the studio. It was a fast process, but all throughout it Danielle was super professional and always on top of keeping me up to date with what was needed. Hair and makeup was gorgeous, Carina did such a good job! I booked a boudoir session because I needed a boost to learn the love me again. I needed to find a way to try to rebuild that confidence. I had been a lurker in the VIP Facebook Group, but I absolutely loved Danielle’s style and the way she was so authentic as well. Danielle is AMAZING her hair and makeup team really knows what they are doing. I was extremely nervous to do this. As I was very self conscious, Danielle will give you all the instructions on how to pose. She will also make it fun by trying to lighten the mood. She was able to softly edit the images for me to pick from to add to my photo album, I can say I thought I looked bigger than what I was. I can’t even begin to tell you how incredible my experience was with Danielle. She made me feel so comfortable from the moment we first started talking to actually seeing my photos at the Reveal. She walked me through everything – what to wear and how to prepare my body (stretch, shaving, tanning, etc). She reached out regularly to make sure I was feeling confortable and didn’t have any questions and that was all before we even met! Day of, she made sure I was listening to the music I loved and liked to help me relax. She was goofy and outgoing. I have never felt more confident than when I did during my boudoir session. I wanted to book a boudoir maternity session to capture how my body has changed and adapted during my pregnancy. I’ve followed Danielle’s work and I have loved every session that she has shared. I think my biggest fear was not liking how I looked in the final product. I tend to be critical of myself and don’t usually like I how look in pictures. But I am obsessed with the end results! I love everything about my pictures! My self love journey has been just that, a journey. I’ve been working on accepting my body and all the changes it has gone through. I had a boudoir session about a decade ago when I was small and a lot more insecure with my body. I liked the pictures done but didn’t really connect with them. I’m older now, a mom, and way more confident in my flawed skin than I ever was in my youth. The pictures that Danielle did were exquisite. I feel and look confident, domineering, and sexy in these photos. I liked the way Danielle puts herself out there and shows that she’s a real person behind the camera. She promotes body positivity at every turn. I also really enjoy the darker look she gives to her photos. The photoshoot was a blast! I had so much fun and it was so comfortable from the start. The studio was secluded and well partitioned from prying eyes. She offered snack and music, which is the way to my heart!
